I can't start the default site, or the newly installed SharePoint site. Attempts to start either site result in Event IDs 1004 and 15005 thrown to the System log. IIS produces this error msg:"The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process."

I have a fresh installation on Windows SBS 2008. I want to make my SharePoint Accessible from the Internet. I know what to do as far DNS records and firewall access goes, but what do I have to specifically do in WSS and IIS on the server to make it work? Many thanks, Omar W.
