Outlook using MS word as email editor is greyed out

I just moved my users over to outlook 2003. He lost his ability to use MS word as his txt editor. This option is now greyed out. Any ideas how to ungrey it so he can use MS Word as primary email editor?

Hi! Is it possible in exchange to creat an email to will only send / receive from the domain user? It's for internal use only. This email will only receive and send from users @mydomain.com Thanks!
