Search missing from right click context menu in windows explorer

Have a laptop with Windows Vista Business... In windows explorer or (my) computer when you right click, the menu does not contain "search", which I use frequently. It was there, but I don't know when it disappeared (or what caused it). Can anyone please tell me how to restore it?

How to lock Gadgets on Sidebar

Dear expert, I have a few (five) gadgets opened on the Sidebar. I rearranged them in different order but everytime when I restarted the PC the order has been changed. crcdisk.sys

restarted PC today upon restart i'm getting a blue screen, when i attempt to boot into safe mode i see it hangs on crcdisk.sys and then i see the blue screen for a half a second and it restarts. any help?

I cannont ping any IP devices across a specific subnet from a Vista PC.

Basically I have a Vista PC on 192.168.1.x which cannot ping or traceroute anything on the 192.168.4.x subnet. I do know that everything is fully route able between the two subnets as I can ping back and forth between the 2 using any other Windows PC.
