Problem: Can you switch the codepage settings in SQL Server 2005?

For whatever reason when we installed SQL Server 2005 the codepage set to 1252. This is a real nuance when writing excel exports from SSIS. We'd like to switch the default as to avoid all the aliasing involved in data transformations. Is this possible?
