Making a chart see a #DIV/0! error as an empty cell
Making a chart see a #DIV/0! error as an empty cell
I have a line chart getting its data from a sheet named "Data Summary" which gets its values via formulas referencing another sheet "Master". I would like to have the chart read any cells with #DIV/0! errors as empty cells, so that it doesn't produce false zeros. In other words, if the value for April in the chart is 23%, and there is no data yet for May, we don't want to see the line going back down to zero for May. We want the line for that series to end in April.
If there is no data in "Master" for May (which will produce the #DIV/0! error), we don't want that to be confused with actual data producing a value of 0%.
So is there any way to get the chart to read all #DIV/0! errors as empty cells (or at least the first one, thereby having the line end at 23% in April? Bear in mind that "Data summary" is 53 columns worth of formulas
Thanks!
John
