Hi all, I am not familiar with FileMakerPro, but used to MS Access and SQL server. I'd like to connect to file maker pro thru ODBC, and maybe create an Access database with linked tables. I was asked to create an "extention" to an existing file maker pro db. So I want to be able to connect to file maker pro or query it using MS access or VB.NET/SQL server Does anyone have an idea on how to do that? Thank you!!

>My big question is: can I create a fileMaker file that is linked to another db thru ODBC? FileMaker can only do this for other FileMaker files, not for other types of databases. The problem is that FileMaker is not a SQL-based database, so it doesn't really have any way to represent a SQL-based system's tables in its own structure.
